SUMMARY:Devon County Team Trials and League Fixture
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the final fixture of Season 2 in Devon’s premier monthly pickleball league\, and a special opportunity for players to put themselves forward for the Devon County Team. \nDevon will play its first ever County Match against Somerset later this year\, so this fixture will be particularly important for anyone interested in representing the county. Players from clubs across Devon are encouraged to attend\, including those who haven’t previously played in the Devon County League. \nThe doubles league runs from 12:45–15:30\, followed by singles from approximately 15:45–17:00. \nPlayers can expect 6–8 doubles games\, depending on the number of entries\, and 4+ singles games across three divisions. Singles divisions will be determined by ability\, using DUPR as a reference where available. \nDevon County Team\nIf you would like to be considered for the Devon County Team\, please make every effort to attend this fixture. It will provide an opportunity to compete against players from across the county and demonstrate your ability in a competitive environment. \nAttendance is not mandatory for County Team consideration and attending does not guarantee selection\, but we would strongly encourage anyone interested in representing Devon to come along where possible as it will help us identify players who could form part of the Devon team. We particularly encourage clubs to share this with members who they feel could be strong candidates\, particularly if they haven’t previously taken part in the county league. \nNEW PLAYERS: You do not need to have played in previous Devon County League fixtures to enter.
